Biographie
Marie-Hélène Lemaire, Education Manager. Marie-Hélène Lemaire is the Education Manager at the PHI Foundation for Contemporary Art. She completed a Ph.D. in Communications at Concordia University in 2015, focusing on the development of a movement-based pedagogy for guided group tours in contemporary art exhibitions. She draws on feminist approaches to embodiment, new materialism, and poetic research to prioritize and validate our somatic and affective engagements with contemporary art. She nurtures a poetic writing practice to develop, animate, and interpret her educational program. She is committed to epistemic justice in the art world.
