Biographie
Kami is an impact-driven leader and an expert in systems, automation, data analytics, and talent management in the international development and impact sectors. He is currently co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Uniti Networks, a startup seeking to accelerate the adoption of digital services among the world’s poorest billion people by focusing on equitable access and impact.
Previously, Kami was co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Devex, the media platform dedicated to international development, where he spent nearly two decades leading a team of analysts, researchers, engineers, and designers to deliver world-class technologies that made Devex the go-to hub for over one million development professionals.
Earlier in his career, Kami worked in systems consulting and product deployment for the U.S. government at a major technology consulting firm. He then worked on the design and development of a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) platform for a $54 million USAID program.
Kami advises organizations engaged in large-scale systemic transformations to achieve the Global Goals. He still sits on the board of directors of Devex, as well as on the European board of WorldReader—a leader in digital reading in underserved communities worldwide—and on the board of directors of AfricaWorks, a non-profit organization that supports expertise and talent on the African continent. He is also a member of the board of trustees of Candid, a non-profit that provides the information infrastructure for the social sector.
