Biographie
Emmanuella Michel is the founder and CEO of Cognicorp+ Therapy Inc., a corporation offering mental health and online education services. Ms. Michel is a doctoral candidate in educational technology with over 15 years of experience working with youth and families. She is a TEDx speaker and has received several awards, including: the Google Travelling Grant as a woman entrepreneur, the Facebook Oculus Launchpad Fellowship, the Inspiring Woman Award from Women Included, and the Lucie Samson Scholarship for her involvement in environmental education and sustainable development in 2019 at Université Laval. Her doctoral research will focus on experiential learning through Virtual Reality as a way to support the engagement of students with difficulties in the 21st century.
