Biographie
Andres is a final-year PhD student at MIT, in the Brain and Cognitive Sciences Department and the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. His research explores the combination of various forms of intelligence, including symbolic probabilistic reasoning, subsymbolic machine learning, and human intelligence. He is CEO and founder of Stateoftheart.AI, founder of the Latin American AI conference RIIAA (riiaa.org), and author of the book «Genes vs Cultures vs Consciousness: A brief story of our computational minds».
He grew up in Mexico, lives in San Francisco, and loves to travel, play poker, and do sports.
