Biographie
Adnan Hadzi is currently a researcher in residence at the Department of Digital Arts of the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences (University of Malta). For the past decade, Hadzi has been a regular at Deckspace Media Lab, a period during which he conducted his research at Goldsmiths, University of London, based on his work with Deptford.TV. This is a collaborative video editing service hosted in Deckspace’s server bays and built on free and open-source software. His research interests reflect his commitment to equal opportunity, not just in principle but also in practice. Practice as research thus becomes essential to address the issue of “access to technology,” a key challenge for digital and social media as well as for art.
