Biographie
Simon is currently a principal partner at Cycle Capital and head of BleuImpact, an impact investment fund focused on water. A seasoned executive, he has 30 years of experience in strategy, innovation, finance, and operations. He spent over 20 years at GE, including roles at GE Capital, GE Corporate (Mergers & Acquisitions and Ventures), and GE Renewable Energy, where he built a multi-billion-dollar franchise in Canada and the northeastern United States.
Simon holds a degree in engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and an MBA in finance from McGill University, where he is a member of the McGill Global Leadership Council. In 2009, he was named a Quebec International Young Leader by the Arista organization. Simon has served on several boards of directors, including those of GE Canada, C2 Montréal, the Canadian Wind Energy Association, and the Montréal Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. He actively supports his community through his long-standing involvement with Centraide (United Way).
