Biographie
Frédéric Julien has been active in the performing arts sector for many years as a researcher, manager, and activist. Since 2010, Frédéric has led the research and development activities of the Canadian Arts Presenting Association (CAPACOA). In this role, he has directed or published research on topics such as « The Importance of Touring », « Vital Signs: Arts and Belonging », « The Digitization of the Performing Arts », and « Indigenous Artists and Wikidata ». Frédéric is also a committed volunteer. In recent years, he has served as co-chair of the Canadian Arts Coalition and as a board member of Arts Health Network Canada. Since 2018, Frédéric has been leading the Linked Digital Future initiative, which promotes digital discoverability and data-driven transformation in the performing arts.
