Biographie
Zakaria Chihani leads a research team of around twenty people dedicated to trustworthy AI, which he created in 2017 within the Software Reliability and Security Laboratory of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), in Saclay, France, where he is currently Deputy Director. His team develops tools and methods for explainability, out-of-distribution detection, testing, and formal and empirical verification of AI, as well as a modular and extensible platform for AI safety characterisation. Through its research and development work, the team is able to support several industrial partners in assessing the reliability of their AI, while striving to stimulate academic momentum around this topic through numerous conferences and event organisation.
