Biographie
Jacques PRIOL is President and founder of the CIVITEO firm (France) and co-founder of the Data Publica Observatory. He is an expert for various public and private institutions. He was notably an associate expert with the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) on data governance issues for trustworthy artificial intelligence.
Author of numerous articles and books on public data management, he published in 2017 « Le big data des territoires » (FYP Editions) and in 2020 « Ne laissez pas Google gérer nos villes ! » a plea to learn from Google’s city project in Toronto (Éditions de l’Aube). In 2022, he produced for the French Institute of International Relations the study « Ni surveillance, ni consumérisme algorithmique : vers un modèle européen alternatif pour les villes intelligentes ».
