Morocco, the featured country in Montreal
From October 27 to 31, 2025, Montreal will host a new edition of MTL connect, one of the major international events dedicated to digital transformation and artificial intelligence. This year, Morocco is the featured country, recognizing the growing prominence of its technological ecosystem within the Francophonie and on the global stage.
The APEBI Federation, representing Morocco’s digital, telecommunications, and offshoring ecosystem, will actively participate in this edition through several major interventions, showcasing Morocco’s dynamism and strategic vision in the digital field.
A notable institutional presence from the opening
On Tuesday, October 28 in the morning, the APEBI Federation will take part in the official opening ceremony of MTL connect.
Its address will highlight Morocco’s central role in international digital cooperation and emphasize the efforts made to build an inclusive, sustainable, and future-oriented technological environment.
Francophone artificial intelligence at the heart of discussions
On the same day, APEBI representatives will participate in two major thematic panels as part of the Francophonie and AI Day:
- Panel 3 – “Francophone AI in the service of strategic development sectors”
This session will explore how artificial intelligence innovations support the competitiveness and sustainability of key sectors such as agriculture, health, education, or industry. APEBI will present concrete examples from Morocco, illustrating the impact of digital transformation on development policies. - Panel 4 – “Training, retaining, and connecting Francophone AI talent”
This panel will focus on training and enhancing Francophone AI skills. APEBI will share Morocco’s vision for human capital development and the creation of bridges between academic, public, and private actors.
Focus Morocco: showcasing the national ecosystem
On Thursday, October 30 at 10:30 AM, a Focus Morocco will be dedicated to the achievements and collaboration prospects of Morocco’s digital sector.
This moment will provide a showcase for partnership and investment opportunities, while illustrating the dynamic cooperation between Morocco and Canada, based on innovation and co-development.
A strategic participation to strengthen Moroccan leadership
Through these interventions, APEBI’s participation in MTL connect 2025 confirms Morocco’s commitment to consolidating its role as a regional leader in digital and artificial intelligence.
It is part of an approach to promote Moroccan expertise, foster fruitful exchanges, and build a forward-looking Francophone cooperation.
