The OIF is committed to promoting women and youth in the digital sector, as evidenced by the success of the « D-CLIC get trained in digital with the OIF » project. Since its launch in 2021, 2,500 young people from 14 Francophone countries, 51% of whom were women, have been trained in digital marketing, communication, development (web development and mobile development), user interface design, as well as network infrastructure and telecommunications.

The D-CLIC project contributes to strengthening the digital skills of young people and women in Francophone countries to increase their chances of accessing decent jobs in companies and entrepreneurship. The goal is to train several thousand young people in various digital professions and support them in their professional integration over the next five years.

  • Providing short, certified professional training (3-9 months) in professions identified by the OIF-commissioned study on digital jobs;
  • Making training accessible to young people aged 18 to 35, 50% of whom are women, who are unemployed, have dropped out of school, or are in career transition;
  • Supporting beneficiaries for sustainable professional integration.
