After Senegal in 2022, it is now Belgium’s turn to be the country in the spotlight during MTL connect: Montreal’s Digital Week, which will take place from October 10 to 13, 2023.
MTL connect and Belgium already share a long history of complicity and exchange. Proof of this can be seen in the annual editions of Printemps Numérique in Brussels, the insightful contributions of Professor Hugues Bersini on the topic of AI, or the active participation of Walloon and Brussels delegations in the various editions of the event since its inception in 2019.
This year again, digital stakeholders from Belgium will actively participate in MTL connect 2023. Belgium has, for some time now, been committed to developing innovative, ethical, and desirable digital solutions.
At a time when AI is part of every debate and aspect of our lives, Belgian stakeholders specializing in fields as diverse as cybersecurity, educational and training technologies, cultural and creative industries, health, energy efficiency and the environment, mobility, and connected cities will join this shared reflection.
Representatives from Belgium’s three regions will be part of the delegation:
Wallonia
The Hub Digital Wallonia in Montreal, in partnership with the Walloon Agency for Export and Foreign Investment (AWEX), Wallonia-Brussels International (WBI) and the Wallonia-Brussels General Delegation in Quebec will present a delegation of entrepreneurs, incubators, researchers, and artists committed to contributing to the development of a human-centric digital future.
Brussels-Capital
hub.brussels, the Brussels agency for business support, will form a delegation of entrepreneurs and digital specialists eager to discover the Quebec ecosystem, forge new business relationships, and contribute to the collective effort of developing a desirable digital future.
Flanders
From the imec research center, specializing in nanotechnology and digital technologies, to the many collaborative clusters and business incubators, Flanders has built an excellent network of businesses and knowledge to support the development of a digital society. MTL connect will be the perfect opportunity to discover the Flemish digital ecosystem.
