For the 4th consecutive year, Printemps numérique will present the MTL Tech Awards during its annual event MTL connect, which will take place from October 10 to 13, 2023. A 4th Prize joins the 3 already announced: the Francophone Cultural Discoverability Award, presented by the Québec Ministry of Culture and Communications and the French Ministry of Culture. On this occasion, we invite all stakeholders with projects related to the discoverability of Francophone cultural content to submit their application.
This new prize aims to reward projects that promote the discoverability of Francophone cultural content. The winner will receive $2,000 in cash.
By participating in the competition, you are already winners:
- Get 5 free online passes (value of $475): 1 for you and 4 for your colleagues and partners.
- Finalists will receive a free full access pass (value of $499) and a virtual booth on the event’s online platform.
Important dates:
- Thursday, July 13, 2023 – 11:59 p.m. (EST): deadline to submit your application on the form
- Tuesday, September 19, 2023: announcement of finalists
- Tuesday, October 10, 2023: finalists’ presentations to the jury and an audience of industry professionals on the main stage of MTL connect (at NAD School, Montreal)
- Thursday, October 12, 2023: ceremony and live award presentation on the main stage of MTL connect (at NAD School, Montreal)
Eligibility requirements:
- Participate as a non-profit or for-profit legal entity or cooperative;
- Work in the field of Francophone cultural content discoverability;
- Be able to travel to Montreal on October 10 and 12, 2023 for the presentations and the award ceremony.
