The Printemps numérique, in collaboration with LOJIQ (Les Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec) has selected 6 Quebec startups to participate in a trade and scientific mission to Morocco and Tunisia, which will take place from Sunday, May 22 to Friday, May 27, 2022.
Are you a young entrepreneur, do you live in Quebec, and do you want to develop business ties in Morocco and Tunisia? This mission is for you!
The mission, organized by Investissement Québec International and the Bureau du Québec à Rabat, will be a unique opportunity to discover new markets and benefit from expert advice.
LOJIQ will provide financial support of up to 1,800 CAD to selected candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. The amount will cover a partial reimbursement of the cost of the plane ticket and mission fees.
6 REASONS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS MISSION
- Participate in a large-scale mission organized by Quebec institutions
- Discover the Moroccan and Tunisian markets
- Benefit from advice and support during the mission
- Participate in seminars and networking activities in Morocco and Tunisia
- Participate in group visits to research centers, incubators/accelerators, and/or innovation centers in Morocco and Tunisia
- Benefit, as a young entrepreneur, from financial support from LOJIQ

Eligibility criteria:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old;
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and have lived in Quebec for at least one year;
- Hold a valid Quebec health insurance card (RAMQ);
- Hold a vaccine passport (as of today, required by the authorities of the countries visited by the mission).
Profile sought:
Be a shareholder of the company (registered with the REQ) or in the process of founding a company (demonstrate a serious effort to start a business). Please note that professionals, managers, or employees are not eligible.
Required documents:
- An updated resume or a link to your online professional profile (e.g., LinkedIn);
- Your Quebec business number (NEQ);
- A company profile (description of your business) as well as the expected benefits of participating in this mission.
Conditions:
If your application is accepted, you must, in order to benefit from LOJIQ’s support, be a member of the LOJIQ Foundation. The $25 membership fee allows you to support LOJIQ’s actions for young Quebecers engaged in a mobility initiative and gives you negotiated benefits with partners.
Once selected, candidates will be contacted by IQI to finalize their registration and pay the mission fees.
