Biographie

I turn complex AI into practical, human-centred products people can trust. In months, not years. And not even days, because I like quality over FOMO!

I am Stefania Pecore, an AI leader, NLP researcher, and founder of Don’t Tech Stress. With a PhD in Natural Language Processing and a background spanning languages, computer science, biotechnology, and video games, I help organizations move from AI ambition to responsible execution.

My work sits at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, inclusion, communication, and product strategy.

I work with founders and teams, especially those without deep in-house technical expertise, to clarify what AI can genuinely solve, design ethical and scalable solutions, and communicate effectively with technical teams. And yes, I write code too!

I believe the most useful AI is not simply impressive. It is understandable, accountable, inclusive, and aligned with the people it is meant to serve.

Alongside my consulting work, I serve as Executive Director of Women Techmakers Montréal and as an ambassador for Women in Artificial Intelligence and Women in Games.

I am also an AI Expert for UNESCO’s Women for Ethical Artificial Intelligence programme and an Ethical AI Expert Without Borders.

I have shared expertise on AI and algorithmic bias with CBC, Radio-Canada, CityNews, and Télé-Québec.

I was the lead scientific voice in Télé-Québec’s documentary IA : l’angle mort, helping make the societal consequences of AI bias understandable for a general audience.

In 2026, my work in inclusive and human-centred technology was recognized internationally through Women in Tech Global, where I was named a finalist for the Most Impactful Initiative Award, and through the Prix des Femmes de Mérite in the Technology and Inclusion category.

I am especially interested in connecting with:
🔴Founders building AI-enabled products
🔴Organizations shaping responsible AI strategy or governance
🔴Communities advancing equity, accessibility, and inclusion in technology

Let’s build AI that earns trust, creates meaningful value, and leaves fewer people behind.
